I almost walked away from United Showbiz after Bulldog’s case- Nana Ama Mcbrown reveals

In January, 2021, Artiste manager Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson popularly known as Bulldog was arrested by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) in connection with statements he had made as a panelist on UTV’s United Showbiz hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown.

Bulldog had said on UTV’s United Showbiz that the President, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo, will not complete his second term if he does not pay the locked-up funds of Menzgold customers.

Several months later after the incident, Nana Ama Mcbrown, who was the host of the show, has in an interview with Nana Aba Anamoah on Starr Chat, revealed that she almost left the show following the incident.

According to the award-winning actress, but for the support and encouragement of the Managing Director of Despite Media Fadda Dickson, she would have exited the show.

“After Bulldog’s case I wanted to walk away, I couldn’t handle it so I told Fadda, I can’t do it anymore because I don’t want to have issues with the Police and the law but he encouraged me to stay on because these things are bound to happen. Fadda has been very instrumental and he guides me on the show,” she told Nana Aba.
