25th anniversary celebration of Fairgreen Limited launched

Fairgreen Limited, an indigenous Ghanaian firm offering tailored Information Technology (IT) solutions to clients in Ghana and other parts of the world has launched its 25th anniversary celebrations. 

The launch  was held on Wednesday, July 26 inside the Fairgreen offices in Dzorwulu.

Speaking at the launch, the Founder and CEO, Madam Gifty Boahene expressed her profound appreciation for the lengths her company has traveled since it was first established in 1998.

“From those humble beginnings, we embarked on a transformative journey that has shaped us into the dynamic IT solutions provider we are today — An organically grown Ghanaian founded company, providing tailored world-class IT infrastructure solutions to a wide range of sectors including multinationals and corporate organizations, governments, educational institutions and financial entities — not only in Ghana, but across Africa and other parts of the world,” she said.

According to her, over the last 25 years, the company has evolved tremendously, while adapting and evolving in a highly advanced market. 

“Ladies and Gentleman, while we can say our company grew organically over the last 25 years, this achievement has come with hard work and deliberate strategic decisions at every stage. Even back then, when we were retailing computers to individuals and a few corporate clients, we knew that the key to our survival in a competitive IT market was to adapt and evolve. Therefore, as the landscape changed, and technology advanced, and our customers got sophisticated, we made crucial decisions to transition from one phase to the next,” she added.

The event was graced by some board members of the company, past and present employees, and a special guest, Capt. Rtd. Prince Kofi Amoabeng who shared key aspects in the do’s and don’t’s of business. He emphasized more on building and maintaining a company culture, stressing its importance to employee engagement and advancement.

The launch was climaxed by goodwill messages from friends and colleagues of the company and a resolve by the CEO to hold “our vision to ensure that we stay relevant in the market. We will continue to take advantage of our strengths and our opportunities, and leverage on that.”
