In my history of blogging, there have only been few times that a music video has lead daily visits to www.ameyawdebrah.com. Such videos in the past have come from Sarkodie, Joey B and more recently Okyeame Kwame when he featured his kids on a single. But British musician, Ed Sheeran has shattered them all with the release of his Gyo Gyimah directed music video for ‘Bibia Be Ye Ye’.
Twi scholars may argue about the spelling but the world is loving ‘Bibia Be Ye Ye’. Sheeran’s short video on Instagram has over 2 million views already since he shared it while the main video on YouTube is nearing 3 million views.
