<![CDATA[Tapestry of African Experience is a touring project based on the anthology of poems by different African poets to be performed live on stage by veteran actor, poet and playwright Evans Oma Hunter and young dynamic spoken word performer YIBOR KOJO YIBOR aka Sir Black. The show which is expected to tour selected countries around the world and schools particularly in Ghana will feature not only poetry by Oma & Black but Music, Dance and an extract from the New Patriot by Sarif Easmon. The event is designed to showcase how the old poet meets the young contemporary poet to slam, spew and share an unforgettable experience with you the audience, arts lovers and specially the up and coming youth to learn from the works of the old folks, some who have pass on, some who are still with us and works of those emerging contemporary poets for the appreciation of all. A tapestry of African Experience would feature and present works written by African including Leopold Sedar Senghor, Dr. Efua Surtherland, Geormbeeyi Addali-motty, Prof Kofi Awoonor, Frank Kobena Parks, Prof Ayikwei Armah, Pro. Wole Soyinka, Valantino Malangatana, Prof. Atukwei Okai, Sarif Easmon etc will be celebrated. This event is intended to give audience the opportunity to experience the dramatic development that has arrived since POETRY became prominent in Ghana.  Sponsorship and Partnership for this project is highly welcome.
