Achraf Hakimi tops social media trends following wife’s divorce settlement

Achraf Hakimi, Moroccan defender for Paris Saint-Germain, has recently topped trends on social media following details of his divorce.

The 24-year-old right-back outsmarted his ex-wife Hiba Abouk’s attempt to obtain a divorce in order to split his money in half.

In an attempt to dissolve their five-year relationship and marriage, Hakimi’s ex-wife brought him into court earlier this year, charging him for adultery and other extramarital issues.

The 36-year-old Abouk anticipated receiving an equal portion of his €70 million fortune, should the demand for divorce be granted.

However, Abouk received the shock of her life on Thursday, April 13 when the judges delivered the verdict of the divorce request.

The French court approved the request and also announced that the lady Hakimi met aged 19, will leave the union empty-handed because his former ‘millionaire’ husband (Hakimi) owns nothing.

The former Borussia Dortmund defender, who makes over a million euros annually, has given his mother the legal title to all of his possessions, including his bank accounts.

According to sources, Hakimi’s mother Fatima receives up to 80% of his monthly wages in a separate account, and the player has no vehicles, homes, jewelry, or other items registered in his name, not even clothes.

Hakiki’s successful attempt at outsmarting his ex-wife, has received mixed reactions on social media following the announcement of the judgement.
