‘Amazing Child’ season finale set for National Theatre, October 28

<![CDATA[After 13 exciting weeks of TV Africa’s Amazing Child for peace 2012 edition, the final event is set to take place on Sunday, October 28 at the National theatre at 3pm. The final thirteen children have gone through a gruelling battle and survived to be in the final. The season began with 230 kids from across the country who were auditioned and shortlisted to 26. The weeks went by seeing some of the children evicted till the final 13 who are going to battle it out on one stage. This season also saw the children visit various tourist sites and very relevant places in the country including the James Town Mantse palace, Manhyia Palace, Usher fort prison, Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum, the Kumasi Zoo, and for the first time performed at the Centre for National Culture in Kumasi where the audience were marvelled at the talent of these kids. This was to enlighten the children on where they are coming from in order to know where they are going. It has therefore been a fun filled, educative and insightful season for these children. As the theme for this year’s programme goes, “Amazing Child for peace 2012”, the children have in all the editions been preaching the peace message in relation to the upcoming elections through their performances like singing, acting, dancing, poetry, and  others. The final event at the National Theatre on 28th of October, promises to be better and more exciting. Be treated to the display of skill by The Young Stars, Naa Borley Borketey, Yaw osei, Ewura Esi, Adjoa Arthur,The African Heroes, Makafui Adraki, Ayi Vinyor,Akosua Appiah,J Glory, Maame Yaa Addae, Kwesi Amanor, and The Royal Seed Dancers. There will also be surprise guest performances. The children are to pay Ghc 5.00 and adults get in for Ghc 10. The tickets are available at TV Africa,Koala,Maxmart and at the National Theatre.]]>
