In an interview on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z with Kwame Dadzie, Amerado explained that inspiration plays a crucial role in his decision to collaborate on tracks. He shared that although he liked the song Barima Sidney sent him, he felt it wasn’t one he could deliver well.

“Barima Sidney sent me a song, I loved it. I spoke with my team that I thought the song was not one that I could really deliver well on, so I requested for a remix of one of his monster hits, but that couldn’t happen too,” he shared.

The ‘Kweku Ananse’ singer further emphasized that when inspiration is missing, he prefers not to take on features. He noted that he was quick to work on a remix for Joyce Blessing’s newly released “Overdo” because he could vibe with it.

He also expressed respect for Barima Sidney, stating, “I’ve seen a couple of interviews that the legendary Barima Sidney has been talking about the fact that I ignored a feature. He should take it easy on me because who wouldn’t want to work with Sidney, but some time maybe we will work on a song that I can really deliver on.”
