Ghana Barbecue Association meets tourism minister ahead of World Barbecue African Championship in Ghana

On Friday 07th February, 2020 Ghana Barbecue Association paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi

She was presented a citation from the World Barbecue Association/Ghana Barbecue Association to honor her and to introduce the presence and existence of the Association in Ghana. The presentation was done by Doris Eyram Lumor ( African Ambassador for the World Barbecue Association ) and Mr. Prosper Kumi ( President Of Ghana Barbecue Association )

The Ghana Barbecue Association is hosting it first ever World Barbecue African Championship in Ghana on April 29th 2020 – May 1st 2020. Which participants from 20 African countries will be in Ghana to participate in the event.
Ghana Barbecue Association has also been selected to participate in the upcoming Memphis, TN in May 2020 in the United State to represent Ghana and Africa in the World Barbecue Championship.

Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi, was impressed by the performance, achievements and commitment of the association to improve and promote tourism through Barbecue Sports.
Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi the Minister also made mention of providing her support to the Association in Ghana.
