Gospel musician and radio host, Jeshurun Okyere will host the 9thedition of his annual ‘August Worship’ concert on August 18, at the Maker’s House Chapel International in Kwabenya.

The theme for this year is “Waiting in Worship” and it will feature, Cece Twum and Joe Mettle and many other Ghanaian gospel heavyweights, as well as Nigerian gospel music powerhouse, Victoria Orenze and Afy Douglas.

Speaking on Ameyaw TV, Jeshurun said ‘August Worship’ has transformed many lives and made a lot of positive impacts.

“We have been able to raise money to support an orphanage in Suhum for the last two years. We have provided food supply and others to them. The other thing is I have overdone the story about my addiction, which a lot of people know. And because of the concert, we are able to open up and connect with a lot of young people.  I can count more than 200 young men that we have helped to come out of masturbation.”

‘August Worship’ this year is interlaced with the word of God and patrons will be blessed with knowledge of former chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah, and the Founder and Overseer of the Maker’s House Chapel International, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye.
