Australia-based Ghanaian make-up and beauty expert, Adjoa Mkwananzi is taking the industry by storm with not just her skills but business acumen.
Adjoa Mkwananzi was born with a passion for makeup and beauty. She specializes in making people look their best, with a passion that is indescribable. According to her, she feels fulfilled when she does makeup for people.
“The thought of making someone feel and look beautiful even if it is just for a day, hours, seconds to me means I have made a difference to the life of that person. That makes me feel a sense of worth. I have experiences in working with people of all shades and complexions, different nationalities all over the world. I have worked with musicians, actresses, models and more,” says Adjoa.
Adjoa has also participated in fashion, runway and talent shows as a makeup artist. But her experience with makeup goes beyond just making people look beautiful. She is also a beauty educator who teaches people how to best apply makeup on themselves or others. She also recently launched her cosmetic brand by name XM Cosmetics.
XM Cosmetics aims to provide quality makeup and cosmetics to people. The brand is targeted at women who want to use makeup to enhance their beauty but also want affordability. XM Cosmetics products are affordable and accessible, and they come in beautiful and sleek packaging.
The XM Cosmetics range currently includes Mink eye lash extensions, lash glue, lash wand, liquid lipsticks in array of shades, makeup brushes, eyebrow pomade, black opal cosmetics, ben Nye cosmetics and more. Coming soon are foundation powders, eye shadows, mascaras etc.
