Bliss GVS Pharma And Korle Bu Teaching Hospital Collaborate To Fight Malaria

Bliss GVS Pharma Ghana, a leading pharmaceutical company, has made a generous donation of antimalarial drugs worth 100,000 Ghana Cedis to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana, ahead of the World Malaria Day 2023 celebrations. The donation comes as part of Bliss GVS Pharma`s commitment to combating malaria, a deadly disease that continues to affect millions of people worldwide, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.

The antimalarial drugs donated by Bliss GVS Pharma will play a crucial role in the hospital’s efforts to provide effective treatment and care to malaria patients. Malaria remains a major health challenge in Ghana, with high prevalence rates and significant morbidity and mortality rates, especially among vulnerable populations such as children and pregnant women. Mr. Genne, the Manager of Bliss GVS Pharma in Ghana, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting efforts to combat malaria in the country. LONART and P-ALAXIN, (Artemisinin-based combination therapy), are among the donated medications.
