Cardi B and Offset are expecting their second child

Cardi B surprised fans during her performance at the BET Awards on Sunday night (June 27), revealing she’s pregnant with her second child.

The rapper took to the stage with her husband, Offset, wearing a rhinestoned bodysuit with a sheer mesh panel which showed off her growing baby bump. After the couples’ performance, BET Awards host Taraji P. Henson joked “Cardi B and Offset, giving us life – literally”.

It was a big night for the rapper, who also won the award for Video of the Year for her track with Megan Thee Stallion, “WAP”. The iconic music video also starred Kylie Jenner.

Cardi B later shared a pregnancy photo on Instagram, captioned: “#2! @offsetyrn”. Dad-to-be Offset also shared a snap to announce the pregnancy on his own Instagram. Similarly captioning the post: “#2 @iamcardib”.

Fans and celebs quickly took to the comments section to congratulate the couple on the news.

“Congratulations!!!!! ❤️❤️” said Khloe Kardashian, while Lil Nas X commented “wowwww😍😍😍”. BET Network’s Connie Orlando commented “CONGRATULATIONS!!! And THANK YOU for sharing that special moment with us! Much ❤ @iamcardib @offsetyrn”.

But, it’s not the first time Cardi B’s taken to the stage to announce she’s expecting. In August 2018 she revealed she was pregnant with her first child during a live TV appearance on Saturday Night Live.
She and Offset, who have been married since September 2017, already share a daughter, Kulture Kiari, who turns three in July. Offset also has three other children from previous relationships
