Cardi B cancels concert over security threat
American rapper, Cardi B canceled a performance in Indianapolis on Tuesday out of safety reasons.
The show at Bankers Life Fieldhouse was postponed less than an hour before it was scheduled to start because of an “unverified threat” to the ‘I like it’ rapper.
“This evening, there was a scheduled concert at Bankers Life,” tweeted the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. “We were notified of an unverified threat to the artist and the artist canceled this evening’s concert – there is no immediate threat to public safety, this not an active incident. Ongoing investigation #IMPDNow.”
The venue confirmed the cancelation on Twitter and announced a rescheduled date of Sept. 11. All tickets for the original date will be honored.
