According to MyJoyOnline; The driver of dismissed deputy Communications Minister, Victoria Hammah, is suspected to have been kidnapped by two unknown men Monday morning. Lawrence Quayeson had sought refuge at a family residence near Dansoman after packing out of Victoria Hammah’s house. A family friend only known as Nadia, with whom he sought refuge told Joy News the two men who picked him up did not identify themselves.
She said Lawrence came to them yesterday evening to charge his phones, but had to sleep over because it was late in the night. Around 7:30 in the morning, Nadia narrated, he told her he was going to buy porridge “when two guys came, just greeted him and said he should come.” Lawrence had earlier told Joy News his life was in danger. Nadia said the unknown men who came in without any identifiable dress were driving small blue-black Toyota car. She was not able to pick the registration number of the vehicle. “I don’t know where they are taking him to; he was charging the phone when they came so he just left the phone with me and went with them,” she recalled. She claimed she saw the two men entered the vehicle with Lawrence and drove away. Lawrence was Thursday arrested by the Mile 7 District Police when Victoria Hammah lodged complaint against him for allegedly recording her private conversations secretly. He was released the following day. He has also denied circulating the leaked tape of his former boss. Meanwhile, Myjoyonline.com has learnt that the police have established no case against him. Also, some deputy ministers are agitated by the leaked secret recording of Victoria Hammah. The deputy ministers who spoke to Joy News say the scandal has driven home the need for them to be more responsible in their utterances, and cautious of those around them. – See more at: http://www.ghanacelebrities.com/2013/11/11/potricks-day-victoria-hammahs-driver-recorded-kidnapped#sthash.64Db9WwK.dpuf
