Chef Faila wins Most Promising Young Northern Woman Award

Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak, known for her Guinness World Record-breaking cook-a-thon attempt in Tamale, was honored as the Most Promising Young Northern Woman of the Year at the sixth Northern Excellence Awards.

Her event not only attracted tourists to the Northern Region but also exemplified the region’s culinary industry. Organized by the Celebrities Charity Development Foundation, the awards recognized individuals and organizations making significant contributions to northern Ghana’s development. Recipients included media personality Mr. Haruna Mahama, CEO Alhassan Abdul Karim, and musician Fancy Gadam, among others.

The awards ceremony in Tamale spotlighted outstanding individuals and organizations shaping the northern sector’s progress. From media personalities to humanitarian efforts, the event celebrated excellence across various fields while aiming to showcase northern Ghana on a global scale.
