Collaborations Play A Major Role In Music Business -KiDi

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician, Dennis Nana Dwamena, professionally known as KiDi, has recently opined that working together with other artists plays a key role in the music space.

The ‘Say Cheese’ hitmaker during an interview with Caroline Sampson on Asaase Café, asserted that it is important for musicians to work together and include other artists on their tracks.

He explained that, “Collaboration is what puts together different artists in different cultures. If I’m trying to get my music and my brand to America, it is important to collaborate with an American artist.”

The former VGMA artiste of the year  divulged that collaborations with other artists are a leap of faith, stressing that  “some people don’t like collaborations, but I personally think collaboration is very important.”

According to him,  he has done songs with other artists who are not popular  because he has no problem with that as long as the song is good enough.“Some people may also want to collaborate with you to tap into your fame, which is fine,” he noted.
