#Covid19: Ghana’s number of recovered persons increases to 17, confirmed cases still 566

Seventeen infected persons have recovered from the novel coronavirus, according to the Ghana Health Service.

“We have 17 persons who have recorded double negatives and are obviously clinically cured,” Dr. Patrick Aboagye, the Ghana Health Service disclosed at a press briefing by the Ministry Of Information on Tuesday.

“Currently, we have a definition of recovered as those who are positive and have recorded consecutive negative [tests],” he explained.

He further revealed that 66 persons who tested positive are now negative and are being monitored, the GHS is confident they will also recover.
