Davido surpasses N100 million goal 5hrs after he asked friends for N1 million each
Nigerian superstar Davido has met his target of a N100 million after he threw a challenge to his friends on social media to each gift him N1 million.
The “If” singer, in an Instagram story post, stated that all his life he has been the one on the giving side and would love to be on the receiving end. He therefore threw a challenge to his friends to send him N1 million each.
The singer also charged anyone he has ever helped with a hit song to send him some money as well.
A few hours after his post, the singer has received N109 million and counting.
Friends including Naira Marley, Adekunle Gold, Peruzzi, Mr Eazi, Phyno, Don Jazzy, M.I Abaga, etc., have each sent the singer money.
