Dennis Mirpuri, the Editor of CampioneSports.net, has quit his post as the Sports Editor at Live 91.9FM, just one year after joining the Lifestyle Station.
Reports say Mirpuri, who moved to Live FM from Pravda Radio on February 1st 2013, has refused to renew his expiring contract with the Lifestyle Station due to his dissatisfaction with the Tesano based radio station’s failure to resource his operations on the Sports Desk.
The ex-Joy FM sports broadcaster’s next radio job destination remains unconfirmed but sources say he is set to complete a move to Accra based radio station Power 103.5FM.
The 27-year-old is Live FM’s second high profile signing to quit the brand following the shocking exit of Benny Blanco from the Live Breakfast Club to join TV3’s morning show team – New Day.
Dennis Mirpuri, who was the first presenter to host a show – Sporting Moments on Live 91.9FM on Saturday April 27th 2013, when the station’s on-air operations officially commenced, will be embarking on a terminal leave on Monday 13th January.
