Diverting into controversy made me lose all I had worked for – Adu Safowaah

Ghanaian actress and media personality, Regina Adu Safowaah has unveiled the painful consequences of straying into controversy, leading to the loss of everything she had tirelessly endeavored to attain.

According to actress, she lost a lot of great deals after venturing into controversies with some of her colleagues in the industry some years ago.
She further detailed that nobody, most especially business moguls in the country wanted to associate themselves with her because of that.
However, with an unwavering determination to reclaim her fame and standing, Safowaah embarked on a daring endeavor: to break the Guinness World Record for the longest speech by an individual. She noted that she embark on this journey to redefine herself.

The actress, who doubles as a socialite made this known while explaining why she attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest speech by an individual on the Day Show with Berla Mundi.

“Berla, you know I’m that person who saw fame early. I saw in 2015 via ‘Adonko Fa me ko’. That same year I had the opportunity to win Best New Actress in Entertainment in Nigeria. From then I had so many ambassadorial deals and so many opportunities. But on the way, I diverted into controversies and I tell you, I lost everything that I had built.

“Because in the world of controversy, that is where nobody wants to associate themselves with you. I was happy then to be trending every week…you know from one issue to another …so at a point I lost everything. So I decided to go on a journey of rebirth and that was why I embarked on the longest speaking marathon journey,” she said.
