DJ Yoga Drops Visual for Latest AfroTrap Single “YapOfTheTown”

Radio DJ and Music Producer “DJ Yoga” on Max 89.7fm in Accra has released visual for his latest AfroTrap single titled “Yap of the Town”. DJ Yoga has been in the studio experimenting African instruments with Trap-sound from the west which he also named “AfroTrap”.

The whole idea of the AfroTrap movement is to market African sound and culture in an urbanized way. DJ Yoga seeks to blend Ghana’s growing Hiphop culture with elements of America Hiphop Sound to create something epic for the future. He said “The Sound keeps evolving and as music scientists it’s our responsibility to constantly experiment and explore beyond our horizons”.

The video was shot at the Trap House Ghana premises at Tetegu – Weija which is an Afrocentric Bar filled with African Graphite and Artworks, The Visual tells the African story with simplicity yet very detailed with a clear message on the topic of “Ungratefulness” amongst the Youth today. The New AfroTrap single “Yap of the Town” is produced by DJ Yoga himself with the visuals shot by Director 5 of Urbanroll Media.
