Ghanaian Media personality, Akumaa Mama Zimbi has advised against assuming certain roles during courtship.

According to her, it is not advisable to take up parenting and married roles in a relationship.

She also advised against spending too much on each other during courtship.

“In a relationship, you don’t spend on each other, unless it’s your birthday and you give me something as a gift, you’re not giving it to me because you want to get with me.

“In a relationship, you don’t assume the role of a mother or father, or a wife or husband,” she told Berla Mundi on the Day Show.

Akumaa, who has 3o years experience as a married woman, further advised young women to stay away from their boyfriend’s beds when they visit.

“If you visit a boyfriend and there’s no chair in the room, don’t go and sit on the bed. Stand for a while and move out,” she added.
