Here are some highlights of what to expect on DStv. Born Schizophrenic: January’s Next Chapter: At the age of five, January ‘Jani’ Schofield became one of the youngest children ever to be diagnosed with schizophrenia. This one-hour special on DStv joins Jani, now nine years old and her family as they reflect on the progress she has made over the last few years, as well as the continuing challenges her illness presents. Follow Jani as she goes to school, plays with her younger brother Bodhi and enjoys play dates with other children who also suffer from mental illnesses, as well as interacting with the various therapists and healthcare professionals who help her manage her condition. Though Jani has come a long way and made a significant improvement, at age four Bodhi is now starting to show signs of schizophrenia, too. How will their parents deal with this new set of challenges, and how far will they go to protect their children and safeguard their future? Find out on Friday 21 September at 21:00 CAT. Rhythm City: Set in the world of the music industry the show blends youth and contemporary adult culture and aims to give a realistic glimpse into the world of music showbiz and the lives of the people who inhabit it. Mampho is convinced Bash is on the verge of asking her out.  William unwittingly lets Nozipho in on the reason he’s married to Tshidi. Hermanus is finding S’bu’s interest in his affairs increasingly threatening and it seems as if his life could be in real danger, especially when he witnesses a member of the BK Group dying in Hermanus’s arms. William tells Tshidi he can’t sleep with Nozipho. Reneilwe feels bad that Mampho caught her kissing Bash. William, worried that something might have happened to Tshidi, escapes from the Deportation Holding Centre. It airs Mondays to Fridays at 18:30 CAT. The Secret Garden: This is the classic tale of an orphaned girl who is sent to live with her cold-hearted uncle in his large and mysterious house.
