It was a night of glamour and style as guest and honourees for the 2012 Laureus World Sports Awards stepped out for the award ceremony on Monday evening. Although it was a night for recognizing excellence in sports, fashion was a big deal and the female sports stars and wives of some sportsmen rocked the red carpet looking stunning.
Black was in vogue for most of the leading ladies. Actress Thandie Newton, model Bar Refaeli and socialite Tamara Ecclestone looked stunning as they arrived at the Laureus World Sports Awards in London. Tamara looked very elegant in her long black body con gown, which showed off her enviably trim frame as she posed for the cameras. And it was all about the sexy side split for Bar and Thandie as they flashed their impressive set of pins.
Thandie looked gorgeous in her long dress, which was asymmetrical across the neckline and just skimmed the floor. She teamed it with towering black wedged heels with a silver trim and posed for photos on the red carpet at the event which took place at the Central Hall in Westminster. Thandie was accompanied by friend and fellow actor Clive Owen, who looked very handsome in his dinner suit.
