Free SHS Policy Has Come To Stay – Mahama
The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has emphatically stated that his party does not oppose the proposed Free Senior High School (SHS) bill.
He underscored the significance of the Free SHS policy in ensuring equal educational opportunities for all Ghanaians.
Speaking at his encounter with the media ,Mahama highlighted the significance of the Free SHS policy in supporting the most vulnerable in society. He acknowledged its role in leveling the playing field for students from various backgrounds.
John Mahama emphasized that he could not consider ending a policy that provides significant benefits, especially to those who are most vulnerable. He affirmed his dedication to improving and sustaining the program for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
“The Free SHS policy has come to stay, and I am committed to improving it,” he said.
