Funny Face’s gory accident: No life lost, All 5 pedestrians receiving and responding to treatment
On the night of Sunday, March 24, 2024, popular Ghanaian actor and comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, professionally known as Funny Face was involved in a fatal accident at Kasoa Kakraba junction.
According to sources on the ground, his car run through several pedestrians and casualties were reported. Earlier reports also suggested that one person had lost her life and the police had arrested the ‘Children President’ for drunk driving.
However, according to pop culture journalist and TV host, Emmanuel Kwame Sarpong, also known as Olele Salvador, no one died in the accident and victims involved in the unfortunate incident are receiving and responding to treatment at Kasoa Polyclinic. He made this known in an X (formally Twitter) post today, March 25, 2024.
Olele further made known that the people who were involved in the accident included a grandmother, her 2 grand kids and 2 other motorcyclists.
Comedian DKB, who was at the scene of the accident, in a live video also confirmed that there were no lives lost as at the time he was leaving the grounds. He went on to that the Ghana Police Service for saving Funny Face from being lynched.
