<![CDATA[RudolphTrimnell, a Nigeria-born singer based in United Kingdom, is set to launch himself with his kind of afro beat music into the Nigerian music industry. Rudolph, who came into the country recently, is set to rock the music scene with his chart buster singles – Here We Go, Filling My Funky and Fi le.
In a bid to stamp his authority in Nigeria, His record label Fly Boy Entertainment is poised to release the singles as part of his 10 track album entitled The Trap within the next few days.
According to Rudolph, “I am back to my father land to give back to the community, because I have travelled worldwide and know what stuffs that our music entails. Right now, I am releasing 3 singles, thereafter the full album would follow. I enjoy competition but I am not here to be better than any artiste but to play my part in the restoration of Afro hip-hop in Nigeria.”
On his musical sojourn, he disclosed that he started off as a 12 year old. “I began by saving my lunch money here in Lagos and I eventually came up with a 10-tracker music production in a cassette which I showed my mum.”
She said “Okay boy, but I want you to be a lawyer like myself.” And when I was 17 years old I started working with a couple of artistes including Usher and Puff Daddy as a back-up singer.”
R Trimnell would not do anything else but music. In his words: “I believe in positivity and living within your means. If I wear big chains or jewelleries, it’s not to show off but to say to you that you can do it. It’s to motivate you to work harder and you don’t have to do 419 or do drugs to make it big.”
According to Rudolph, “From next week, I shall begin a massive promo of my works. The songs and the videos which I produced and directed shall be on air for my fans.”
Flyboy Entertainment noted that with the kind of music Rudolph plays, he would be a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry in Nigeria because he has seen it all. He had worked so hard to get these singles ready. Videos for these songs were shot in the UK and it is going to be a big bang for music lovers across the country.
The former student of University of Westminister, London also desires collaboration with hip-hop acts whose songs are a morale booster to the entire citizenry.
