Ghana Police beat the depression out of me- Funny Face
Ghanaian comedian, Funny Face has revealed the Police beat the depression out of him.
In 2021, the comic actor went through various episodes of depression which landed him at the Accra Psychiatric hospital.
In one of his depressive episodes, Funny Face had reportedly fired gunshots in Kasoa, which landed him in trouble with the Police. He was subsequently detained and transferred to the psychiatric hospital.

In a yet-to-be aired appearance on the KSM show, Funny Face revealed jokingly that the Police beat him up after the incident, causing his depression to vanish.
“Ghana Police! They are the best when it comes to beating depression out of you,” he told host, Kwaku Sintim-Misa.
Funny Face also jokingly revealed that he had given the IGP a new name because of his efforts.
“Shout out to IGP Dampare. I’ve renamed him, if you are mad, it will clear,” he said in Twi.
