<![CDATA[24-year old professional nurse and model, Gifty Ofori was crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2012 on Saturday evening at a swanky ceremony at the Accra International Conference Centre. She won the prestigious contest after several rounds of competition including swimwear, eveningwear and a round of Q&A for the top 5.
Gifty, who stands 1.73m tall, will represent her Ghana at the 2012 Miss Universe Pageant slated for Las Vegas, Nevada on December 19. The first runner-up was Donna Cofie and the second runner-up was Zakia Kunge. Abena Dickson and Maame Ama Bugyei completed the top 5.
