According to the “On God” hitmaker, John Mahama, during his Presidency, made avenues available for the youth of Ghana to prosper.

Shatta Wale made this statement while speaking on Joy FM on Monday, October 17.

“You know me, Mahama is my dad so…the way Ghanians are talking, we need to give Mahama one more chance. When Mahama was in power, he was doing everything for the youth to survive,” he stated.

The controversial Dancehall musician also revealed that he and some other artists were getting support from the Chief of Staff during John Mahama’s Presidency, which helped boost their careers.

“I was getting opportunities from the Presidency, the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah was always giving me stuff and respected me as an artist. I believe he wasn’t dealing with just me but my colleagues, including VIP and others. I don’t get that from this current government,” he revealed.

When asked by the host if some artists other than him, are also enjoying some favours from the current ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Shatta stated that it wasn’t possible because he is not seeing it.
