Greek/Kenyan road movie “The Return of Lazarus” selected for London Greek Film Festival

<![CDATA[After its successful screenings at the UK, Greece, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi Film Festivals, Greek/Kenyan road movie “The Return of Lazarus” has been selected and will be in competition at the 6th London Greek Film Festival between October 7-18. Soon the presentation of the film will be online at www.londongreekfilmfestival.com For the first time this year, the Audience Award, offered by members of the Greek Film Lovers Club, will be dedicated to a film.  Fans who wish to have the opportunity to vote and enjoy other benefits of the club, need to register online, at www.greekfilmlovers.com. “The Return of Lazarus” will compete with 10 other feature films on the 18th of October 2013 for the Odysseus Awards, which include: Best Fiction Feature Film Best Concept For Fiction Feature Best Directing For Alexandros Konstantaras Best Actor For Alexandros Koch And Nelson Lucas Best Actress For Lizz Njagah Best Screenwriting For Konstantaras And Koch Best Photography For Stella Delliou Best Music Greek Film Lovers Club Award   The three main protagonists of the film, Alexandros Koch, Nelson Lucas and Lizz Njagah are also nominated for Best Newcomer Award – Actor and Actress in the 19th Athens International Film Festival.   The Return of Lazarus is the first feature film Alexandros Konstantaras shot in Greece. Two brothers, Lazarus (Alexandros Koch) and Kyriakos (Nelson Lucas), set out for a road trip to Maronia, Northern Greece, in a quest for the mythical cave of the Cyclops. On their journey they meet King’ora (Lizz Njagah), a Kenyan woman who works in a local motel.]]>
