Management of GOtv Ghana Limited, on Friday 14th March 2014 paid a courtesy call on the Adansehene, Nana Bonsra Afriyie II and his elders at his palace in Fomena, as part of the company’s activities to launch its operations in Obuasi.

During the visit, the GOtv Business Manager, Mr. Kingsley Afful said “We are launching GOtv at a fast pace to ensure the service is available in all ten regions before the country migrates from analogue to digital migration. GOtv subscribers will save the time and expense of having to buy a new TV set and decoder when Ghana migrates from analogue to Digital Terrestrial Television as GOtv is already operating with DVB T2, which is the approved technology standard for digital transmission. The service is being launched in Obuasi before Koforidua due to several factors including the strategic geographical location of Obuasi as well as the high level of trading and marketing activities within the city”.

The GOtv team also paid courtesy calls on the Obuasi Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Richard Ofori Boadi and the Obuasi Zongo Chief, Alhaji Gibrim Ibrahim.
