In a bid to preserve its reputation, the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPAwards) has relieved Maria Solo, also known as Soleil Diva of her position as Chief Ambassador. This is as a result of continuous complaints from the Democratic Republic of Congo of some alleged corrupt practice and misuse of executive position.

The HAPAwards promotes culture and celebrates outstanding achievements of celebrities, musicians and comedians, giving them a veritable platform to connect with the global entertainment industry. Notably, the awards has recognized several talented individuals in Africa especially from the DRC.

In a recent interview with the Founder/Chief Executive Officer of HAPAwards, Ms. Tina Weisinger, said, “Our organization is focused on building trust and good relationships around the world. We strongly condemn any act of indiscipline which might bring the awards into disrepute”.
