In Ghana, fostering tech skills and cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among the youth is vital for driving innovation and economic growth. Embracing this vision, Foundry Camp has built a strong reputation for helping driven entrepreneurs in Ghana launch successful MVPs and deliver high-quality technology education and mentorship programs.

The HUBiquitous Talent Program, which was supported by funding from the European Union, ended on July 22, 2023, with a Demo Day organised by the hub. The Talent Program, conducted in partnership with HUBiquitous, aimed to identify and nurture young individuals with exceptional potential and passion in technology-related fields, focusing on IoT.

The Talent Program comprised two phases: an immersive IoT and Design Thinking Bootcamp held from the 3rd to the 6th of May in Accra, Ghana, and a comprehensive training phase. During the boot camp, participants deeply understood the technical and human-centred aspects of innovation. They were engaged in hands-on exercises, workshops, and collaborative team activities, fostering creativity and practical problem-solving skills.

The subsequent training phase allowed participants to delve further into their IoT projects. With the guidance of experienced instructors, including Samuel Maison, they honed their technical skills, refined their ideas, and developed prototypes. This phase bridged the gap between theory and practice, preparing participants for real-world scenarios.

As part of the Talent Program, participants received ongoing support and access to networking opportunities and continued learning resources. This holistic approach aimed to empower them to thrive in the IoT and design thinking industries.
