I am winning TGMA Best Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year 2024 – Ras Kuuku
Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artiste, Ras Kuuku has confidently declared his dominance in the Reggae and Dancehall genre, asserting that no one else stands a chance of winning the Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year at the 2024 Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) aside him.
Known for his compelling lyrics and energetic performances, Ras Kuuku, whose real name is Kojo Kurankye, has solidified his presence in the music industry with a series of hit tracks and memorable performances.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz fm with Radio personality, Andy Dosty the ‘Poum Nation’ president said he is winning all TGMA Best reggae/dancehall categories.
“No, I am winning Reggae Dancehall song. Nobody is winning the Reggae Dancehall song of the year and you know that,” he said.
The “Me Mpaebo“ hitmaker averred he had done a lot for the Reggae Dancehall genre and played several shows promoting the genre than all the artistes in the category with him. His bold claim underscores his confidence and belief in his artistry and contributions to the reggae and dancehall scene in Ghana. Having won the award previously, Ras Kuuku feels his work continues to set the standard in the industry.
The Reggae Dancehall Artiste recently released an album to thrill his fans tilted “ROAD of EVIL”.
