The artist, known for his hit singles such as ‘Asylum’ and  ‘Goodsin’, as well as his growing influence in the Ghanaian music industry, emphasized that his appearance should not be misconstrued as an endorsement of former President John Dramani Mahama, who is currently the presidential candidate for the NDC party.

Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, Olivetheboy detailed that his performance was a business arrangement, akin to any other professional engagement.

“I didn’t endorse Mahama and his NDC party; it was strictly business. I was hired,” he stated, seeking to distance himself from any political affiliations.
