“I hope to open a comic club over there” – American comedian Dave Chappelle on moving to Ghana

American comedian Dave Chappelle has revealed his intentions to move to Ghana this year.

He made this known during an interview with award winning British model, Naomi Campbell on her Youtube show.

According to Dave, 47, his decision to move to Ghana was inspired by Stevie Wonder’s recent press statement which he disclosed that he had plans of permanently moving to Ghana ‘so that he can be valued and respected more’.

Although he didn’t state the exact month he’s planning to set off, Dave revealed that “I’ll follow him (Stevie Wonder) over there, or I’ll go myself”

He also spoke about acquiring some properties in Ghana.

“hopefully I’ll build something there but I’m definitely gonna at least rent something there for the foreseeable future,” he said.

Dave added that he hopes to open a comedy club in Ghana when he arrives.
