I Lost More Than 300 Church Members Due To Negative Publicity About Me – Cecilia Marfo

The singer/songwriter in an interview with Joy Prime’s Roselyn Felli revealed that the number of members in her church has reduced drastically from 400 to just 40 members in recent times.

The ‘Afunumu Ba’ hitmaker attributed the decline in membership of her church to negative publicity about her, some of which allegedly came from top politicians and her fellow gospel musicians such as Diana Asamoah.

The singer, who rose to prominence for her soul-stirring songs and powerful performances to a greater extent made known that the unfortunate ordeal deeply saddens her and discussing it brings  tears to her eyes  as she never expected people she gave her all to, to have a hand in her downfall.

”With the things they did to me, It is only God who can vindicate me. Do you know that I had 400 people in my church?If I tell you there are only 40 people left in the church would you believe me ? The things they have done to me here in Ghana….I just don’t want to shed tears. I think about the church and cry always. Diana Asamoah betrayed me but I won’t talk because she is my sister. She recently invited me for her program and I went,” She said while shedding tears.

The renowned crooner and woman of God further expressed belief that everyone would be held accountable for their actions and she awaits the vengeance of God on her enemies.

According to her,  she received heavenly instructions to stay calm and trust in her maker who would fight her battles for her.
