Although he never spoke openly about the reason for his breakup, he is sharing details now in a recent interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.

“I’m single, I’m the richest bachelor in town. Right now I’m waiting for Mary,” he said jokingly.

When asked by Andy Dosty what became of his relationship with Elfreda, he stated;

“Relationship stuff, sometimes it doesn’t work, sometimes it works. It was something new and I’ve been in this world for long so any girl that doesn’t understand the entertainment business well will always have something to say but it’s normal for me.”

Reacting to rumours that Elfreda was Shatta Michy’s ‘school daughter’ back in Senior High School, he stated;

“No, not really, they just went to the same school. It looks like I have something for Mfantsiman girls and I have to go for a Mallam to wash me.”

Contrary to perception that he may not be treating the females he dates well, hence, the reason they up and leave,  Shatta Wale revealed that he takes very good care of his women.

“I don’t let my girls go, they go. When it comes to how to treat women, I’m number one. When I’m with a girl, I’m actually the girl and she’s the boy,” he added.
