Ice Prince arrested for reportedly assaulting a Police officer in Lagos
According to a Nigerian Police report, popular musician, Ice Prince has been arrested for assaulting a Police officer in his car.
According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Command in a tweet, Ice Prince was stopped for driving without a license plate.
When stopped and queried, Ice Prince agreed to the crime and availed himself to be taken to the Police Station.
However, when the Police man sat in Ice Prince’s car to be escorted to the Police station, he abducted, assaulted and treated to throw the Police officer in the river.
Ice Prince has since been arrested and will be arraigned in court today, Friday, September 3.
“At 3am today,@Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today,” SP Benjamin tweeted.
