On Friday, December, 2nd, Ghana faced Uruguay in the last group H game in the ongoing FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

While the stakes were high for the Black Stars of Ghana to win the match to enable them proceed to the round of 16, they were beaten by 2 goals by their Uruguayan counterparts.

During the very anticipated game, the performance of some of the players on the pitch were highly critiqued on social media by football lovers in the country.

The Founder and lead Pastor of RockHill Church in Atlanta, Georgia, Sonnie Badu was especially not impressed with the performance of Baba Rahman.

In a series of tweets, the Gospel Minister questioned the Coach’s decision to put him on the squad.

“So this BABA RAMAN WHO PUT HIM IN ?” he asked on Twitter.

After the game, Sonnie Badu who was as heartbroken as the rest of the population, expressed his disappointment at the performance of Baba Rahman stating;

“If this guy can still play full 100 mins then I can play for GHANA… Look at the balls he could not even connect.”

Ghana’s no goal show in the game against Uruguay brought their World Cup Journey in Qatar to an end.
