Rapper-turned-evangelist, Abraham Philip Akpor Kojo also know as, Lord Kenya has debunk claims that his career in music has ended due to his decision to preach the gospel

The ‘Sika Ba’ hit maker revealed that he is not done with music yet but was waiting for God’s permission to release a new album.

He added that he decided to go MIA from the music scene because people thought his calling by God to become a pastor was not real.

Speaking in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Kenya stressed that he will only release a new song when “the Holy Spirit has given me the go-ahead otherwise I won’t do it.

“My past wasn’t me…if I had followed up musically [After God’s calling], a lot of people wouldn’t have believed me,” he said.
