Jim Iyke details how a visit to T.B Joshua prompted him never to be desperate

Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has revealed how an encounter with the late Prophet T.B Joshua made him make up his mind never to be desperate for anything again in life.

In a recent interview on ‘King of Talk’ with Teju, the actor explained how his mother’s ailment years ago left him desperate, looking for any solution to make her feel better.

Jim Iyke disclosed how this desperation took hold of him and forced him to visit Prophet T.B Joshua for deliverance over his mum.

According to Jim Iyke, he was advised to take his mum to the Prophet for deliverance, and although he wasn’t so sure about it, he did it for the love of his mum.

“TB Joshua is past and I still honor him, my experience there I’ve chalked it and it is a spiritual experience. I will never be desperate again in my life, desperation is what took me there to take my mom there, hoping that a man ‘ordained by God’ will heal her, whether he is a man of God or not, it is not for me to question, that’s for God and him to decide, all I know is that what took me there I didn’t get it”, he said.

The popular Nigerian actor further stated that after the loss of his mum and the sad experience he went through, he gradually began to understand the power of prayer and a personal relationship with God, not depending on men to solve his problems.

“That experience was just a lesson and I think that was my last act of desperation, last act.

He continued; “I got to understand that everything that happens in life is as a result of my reaction to it. I came to understand the power of prayer and a personal relationship with God, understanding that I don’t need any man to pick me to God, many times I’ve been in this thresholds and I sat down and prayed my way out of it, without excessive consume”, he added.
