From songs paying tribute to his late parents to hard-hitting Hip-Hop bangers that allude to the greats before us, Joey has managed to create a masterpiece that transcends genres and permeates the very core of human emotion.
Frimpong Ofori Precious well known as Joey Papking is a rapper-songwriter who hails from the Eastern part of Ghana, Akim Oda to be precise. Joey seeks to be remembered by many through his remarkable storytelling and impressive sonically delivery for centuries to come.

1. Who is Joey Papking? Tell us more about yourself?

Joey Papking is a young and rising artist who has a lot of passion for music. He hails from Akim Oda in the Eastern region and all he loves to do is entertain music lovers with his tunes.

2. So, your new ‘’East Side’’ EP is out. How did you come up with the title and how would you describe the EP to fans?

The ‘’East Side’’ EP is a power packed six track EP which is also my first set of project. The title says it all, it is a message to Ghana and the world at large that the Eastside has a lot of talents and its high time we’re taken seriously.

3. Share your music journey with us?

My music journey has been a hard and smooth one at the same time, because from the start it wasn’t easy but right after school, I got a label – Jas Muzik and here we are.

4. The productions on your EP are really a top-notch, let us into it?

So, all six songs are carefully selected. These are songs that I have high hopes in so, I selected them purposely for this EP. Major production credits by Fimfim with only track 3 – ‘Town’ done by Apya.

5. What should your fans be most excited for in the coming year?

They are going to see more of me, more fireworks.
