<![CDATA[South Africa’s Keagan emerged winner of the 8th season of Big Brother Africa on Sunday evening, taking home the ultimate cash prize of $300,000. He beat Kenya’s Prezzo to second place. He becomes the first South African to win the Big Brother Africa hit TV series.
The two hour finale started with a performance by Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and also witnessed performances from South Africa’s Khuli Chana, Navio from Uganda and Naeto C and Dbanj from Nigeria. There were also messages and interviews with evicted housemates as well as goodwill messages from past Big Brother Africa winners.
Wati was first to be evicted, followed by Kyle, Talia and Lady May, leaving the top two, Keagan and Prezzo. All housemates were shown their audition tapes, a first in Big Brother Africa history.
