K’NAF Couture on Saturday, June 5, 2010 supported the Golden Hearts Trust to raise funds for under privileged children with Congenital Heart Disorder, at the State House, Osu, in Accra. K’NAF Couture, spearheaded by Kayda Nana Afriyie Frimpong, showcased some of its latest Avante-Ghana collection with fabrics from Vlisco.

Kayda who holds Bsc degree in Fashion from the Tampa International Academy of Design, USA, set up K’NAF Couture in 2004 in the States.

Currently she has relocated back home to Ghana and is making big strides in her bid to put Ghana on the Fashion and Socio-Economical map.
K’NAF Couture recently organized a charity event aptly named “Fashion Aid 2010” in Accra where she launched her label and auctioned some of her clothes to support underprivileged children with Congenital Heart Disorder.

Kayda has made it clear that charity and social consciousness are as big a part of her company as designing clothes are and is therefore continuing in this effort by joining with Vlisco to support this cause.

Among other celebrities, Anita Erskine of DSTV fame, Actress and TV personality Ama K Abebrese, Actress and TV Presenter Jocelyn Dumas, Actress Naa Ashorkor , Miss Ghana 2009, Mimi Areme, and Miss Malaika 2009, Gizelle Addae wear K’NAF Couture’s stylish garments.
