Kobina Ansah and Elorm Ansah Launch “Animuonyam and The Queer Man” Book
On Saturday, it was all joy for the the Ansahs when they launched their second illustration book in honor of their son’s second birthday at the Bethel Baptist Church in Dansoman-Accra. Themed on child sexual abuse, the book was a sequel to Animuonyam The Bully Stopper which was launched a year ago.
Speaking at the launch, Playwright Kobina Ansah stressed the commitment he and his wife have made to shape society through their illustration books. He said, “We are focusing on abuse of children. Last year, we tackled physical abuse. This year, we are tackling sexual abuse. Next year, we will tackle emotional abuse.”
Animuonyam is a child of the couple. Celebrating his birthday every August, the couple is on a mission to launch a socially-transforming children’s book every August.
The launch is happening again in Takoradi on Saturday, 19th August, 2023 at Central Assemblies of God. Time is 3pm.
