Multiple award-winning Highlife singer and songwriter, Martin King Arthur, otherwise known as Kofi Kinaata has firmly stated his disinterest in participating in any form of lyrical confrontation with fellow musicians, commonly referred to as rap beef.

According to Kinaata, he prioritizes serving as a positive role model to his nieces and nephews, aiming to demonstrate that a career in the arts is not only viable but also honorable.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Thursday, April 18, 2024, the ‘Effiekuma Love’ singer highlighted the initial resistance from his family towards his music career but emphasized how it has positively impacted his life over time.

Determined to uphold his family’s pride, he vows to stay clear of detrimental associations and continue to inspire through his musical journey. The crooner is resolute in his commitment to maintaining a positive image and ensuring his family’s continued pride in his endeavors. 

He also acknowledged the importance of avoiding associations that may invite criticism from his loved ones and is determined to uphold his reputation as a responsible artist.
