Korle Bu issues statement that Buk Bak member, Ronnie did not die as a result of oxygen shortage

<![CDATA[Authorities at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital have reacted to allegations making rounds that musician Ronnie Coches of the group Buk Bak, died as a result of shortage of Oxygen, at the time of his admission. Media reports, quoting trusted family sources suggested he died as a result of Oxygen shortage. But in a statement sent to the media today, the Hospital has denied any wrongdoing, and insisted the allegations are “untrue”. “It is also untrue that he was on admission at the National Cardiothoracic Centre but rather at another part of the Hospital, which we cannot disclose now,” the statement added. Ronnie died in the morning of Thursday November 21. Post event allegations suggesting the Hospital erred in the course of attending to him, leading to his death, have since gained currency.
