Kwaw Kesse, Eddie Nartey, Prince David Osei to ‘celebrity-catwalk’ at “The Three in One Ball”

Fashion has been known to be a concern from the beginning of creation wherever one finds him or herself but for some time now, the African continent and her textile print pattern has taken over the baton, with Ghana spearheading the crusade.

It is with this regard that Unique World Fashion, a German based company is putting together an elegant ball in Ghana. The ball that is dubbed “The Three in One Ball” is meant to introduce the fashion brand in Ghana and beyond.

It comes off on  22nd February, 2014 at the Royal Richester Hotel, East Legon a suburb of Accra, Ghana.

Three in one because the ball has three facets; the Celebrity modelling with the likes of Kwaw Kesse, Eddie Nartey, Prince David Osei, Patrice Amegashie etc. all on the runway whilst live performances will feature Kwabena Kwabena, Akwaboah, Irene, Quarme Zaggy and Fund raising for charity and this event will be hosted by Afia Schwarzenegger.

In an interview with Mrs. Theresa Onnen, Chief Executive Officer of Unique World Fashion, she said her love for Ghana can never be compared to any part of the world hence her choice to introduce this fashion company and clothing line in Ghana.

Mrs. Onnen is a German based Ghanaian who for the last ten years has been working in the fashion industry in Europe as a fashion designer and a stylist. She is also a philanthropist who occassionally donates to people living with AIDS.

“Fact is, I’ve had lots of friends from other African companies trying to entice me to host my clothing line but I turned all down because I want to do Ghana first before the others” she confessed.
Mr. Francis Frimpong Manson a.k.a Nkosuohene also based in Germany , the PR manager for the project revealed that all the materials are from Germany hence the Eurpean standards of the quality of their clothes.

“The ball is strictly by invitation but open to the media and fashion people in Ghana” the PR manager sadly explained adding that they would have loved for all to see at first hand but promised Ghanaians to just hold on to the best fashion experience from Unique Fashion World. Some of Ghana`s best fashion designers like Muange and Elikem will be adding up their experience to cut to fit clothes which will be used by the celebrities.
